Bank Accounts
Configuring bank accounts for payment tracking.
Bank Accounts
Bank accounts in Tourbox are records of your organisation's accounts that money flows in and out of. They are referenced when recording every customer and supplier payment, so the Cash Flow Report and per-account reconciliation work.

Adding a bank account
Fields:

- Account number / IBAN / Sort code (or local equivalent).
- Currency.
- Opening balance and opening date (optional, used for cash flow projections).

Reconciliation
The balance shown in Tourbox is the sum of payment records, not a live bank feed. Treat it as an internal view, and reconcile against your bank statements externally.
Archiving
Old or unused accounts can be archived to hide them from selection dropdowns while preserving historical payment records.
Multi-currency
Each account is single-currency. If you transact in multiple currencies, add one bank account per currency. Cross-currency payments use either market rates or a currency contract.
