Introduction
Introduction
Tourbox is an operations platform for tour operators, DMCs, and travel businesses. It covers the full lifecycle of a trip, from a new enquiry arriving in your inbox through to an authorised booking with paid suppliers and a happy customer in their portal.
The platform is built around five connected areas:
- Pipeline: Enquiries, bookings, itineraries, passengers, and customers.
- Finance: Customer invoicing, supplier costs, payments, bank accounts, and FX contracts.
- Content: A catalogue of reusable products, day templates, packages, a media library, a knowledge hub, places, and forms.
- Communications: A unified inbox, email templates, and message history per booking and customer.
- Reports: Pre-built and custom reports across sales, finance, operations, and customer insights.
Settings let you configure your organisation, invite team members, manage roles, control billing, configure AI, and connect integrations.
Who Tourbox is for
Tourbox is designed for tour operators who:
- Take enquiries from multiple channels (web forms, email, phone, referrals).
- Build bespoke or template-based multi-day itineraries.
- Work with a network of suppliers and need to track cost, margin, and payment.
- Want a single record per booking that the whole team (sales, operations, and finance) can use.
How this documentation is organised
The left-hand navigation mirrors the structure of the app. If you're looking for help with a specific page, find it under the matching section (Pipeline, Finance, Content, etc.). For background on terminology and how data flows between sections, start with Key Concepts.
